Old Oak Country Club is located just 20 minutes from Chicago, was built in 1926 on a tract of land in Lockport, Illinois that is dominated by large oaks, hickory’s and Long Run Creek. This area of Lockport has been recently incorporated into the new town of Homer Glen, Illinois. The 18 hole golf course has also changed in recent years. The rustic beauty of this tract is the perfect compliment to this challenging golf course. The golf course measures 6,609 yards from the gold tees, and at par 71 this creates quite the golfing challenge. The blue tees play at 6,239 and the Red tees play at 5,298 so pick the tee box that suits your game.

Ravisloe Country Club was established in 1901 by an ambitious and visionary group comprised largely of members of Chicago’s Standard Club. Ravisloe’s founders selected the 120-acre Briggs farm in Homewood, Illinois as the site for their new venture only after considering and ultimately rejecting another property belonging to a Dutchman named Ravisloot. While entertaining that first option, founding members decided “Ravisloot” had a nice ring to it, adapted the moniker to Ravislow and ultimately, called their fledgling club Ravisloe.

At Mistwood Golf Club, owner Jim McWethy wanted to develop a new standard of excellence, excitement, and entertainment for Chicagoland golf. After a two year, multi-million dollar renovation, that standard has been realized, and Mistwood is now one of the most talked about Chicago golf courses!

Designed and renovated by course designer Ray Hearn, Mistwood Golf Club features 20 St. Andrews-style sod-wall bunkers, truly bringing a feeling of Scotland to the Midwest. Additionally, Mistwood has five tee placements per hole, with the ability to now play over 7,000 yards.

The Bluffs, also known as Heritage Bluffs Public Golf Club, has been one of Chicagoland’s highest rated golf courses since it opened in 1993. It offers both a challenge and composure across its rolling acres that offer scenic beauty unlike most Chicago-area courses. Everyone can find a length to suit their game from our four tee boxes that stretch the course from 5000 to over 7100 yards.

Located right off of Interstates 55, just south of Joliet, The Bluffs is the pride of the Channahon Park District. The tranquil surroundings make a day playing golf fun and relaxing. The Bluffs is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and has received a 4-Star rating from Golf Digest magazine.

Since opening in 1929, Course No. 2 has been a favorite of Cog Hill's regular golfers.  The sporty, championship layout is routed through wooded, rolling terrain and challenges golfers with ravines on nearly half of the holes, hence its nickname the "RAVINES." Unique to the course is the closing "19th hole." The challenging par-3 offers a testy putting surface and a memorable end to the day's golf match.

Renowned architect Greg Martin designed this spectacular 18-hole championship course. The par 71, links-style course offers 6,828 yards of challenges, as well as satisfaction. It features two distinct "nines:" The front nine holes play through the lower area of the property, winding their way through wetlands and water. The back nine holes play along a ridge, offering a variety of elevations and striking views of the surrounding countryside.

George W. Dunne National, located in Southwest suburban Oak Forest, recognized by Golf Digest as one of the top public courses, is our premier 18-hole course.

Dunne National offers the unique features of bent grass fairways and greens. Whether you play from the tips or are a beginner you’ll enjoy the challenging terrain that Dunne National offers. Eight lakes, which come into play on eleven of the course’s holes, tree lined fairways and not to mention an abundance of wildlife help make your golf experience a memorable one.

Harborside’s Port Course, which opened for play in 1995, immediately garnered national attention and has since been acclaimed as Chicago’s top public course. This challenging links course was designed by Dick Nugent in the true links tradition of windswept, Scottish, Irish and English seaside courses. While it may seem like you are playing a course built for The Open Championship, the spectacular views of Chicago’s iconic skyline will remind you how close you are to home.

The fantastic finishing holes on the Port Course include the famed par 3 #15 “Anchor Hole” immediately followed by three holes bordering the harbor waters of Lake Calumet.

The course, once an open field, now offers elevated tees, rolling fairways and 7 lakes. Highlights include a true island green par-3 and 600 yard par-5 that should play with the prevailing wind.

Measuring 4,931 yards to 7,104 yards from 5 sets of tees, Bolingbrook Golf Club will prove to be both challenging and fair for players of all abilities and a terrific compliment to any function.

The South Course, though playing only 6,300 yards from the back set of tees, is the real test of Silver Lake thanks to the generous amount of water and sand bunkers present throughout the layout. Be especially wary of the 240-yard par-3 9th hole that requires an accurate forced shot over water just to hit the green – just one of this 70.4/126-rated course’s defining challenges.
